[S QS:XXI:101, IN:5 (Dimrost)]

Ranger(s): Montaraz (pl.

the Ravines of Teiglin: los Barrancos de Teiglin.
[S Mapa Beleriand; cfr. the ravine: S QS:XXI:107]

V. the Falls of Rauros, Roaring Spray.
[SA 6:IV:63; cfr. Rauros-falls: SA 3:I:51 (2 veces)]

Cfr. the Falls of Rauros.

[SA AP:D:7]

Reckoning of Years: Cómputo de los Años – obra de Merry Brandigamo. En PRO:51 de sa-M-3 se traduce como Cronología, y nótese además que, como mencionamos en la sección correspondiente de Errores, la frase 'he was chiefly remembered for his "Herblore of the Shire," and for his "Reckoning of Years"' se da como "se lo recuerda sobre todo por el Herbario de la Comarca y su Cronología", con uso inadecuado de las cursivas, ya que da la impresión de tratarse de una sola obra; corregido en sa-M-4 con Cómputo de los Años.
Cfr. the King's Reckoning, the New Reckoning, the Reckoning of Rivendell, (the) Shire-reckoning, the Stewards' Reckoning.

V. the Red Book, the Red Book of Westmarch.

the Red Book of Westmarch: el Libro Rojo de la Frontera del Oeste.

[SA 3:I:34, 3:IX:54, 6:I:30]

the Redhorn / the Red-horn: el Cuerno Rojo – Caradhras.
Cfr. the Redhorn Gate, the Redhorn Pass.
[the Redhorn: SA 2:III:99, 123, 195, AP:E:I:6, S APÉNDICE:2 (ras); the Red-horn: S APÉNDICE:2 (caran)]

V. the Redhorn Pass; cfr. the Redhorn.
[SA 2:III:101, 119, 132, 140, 209, 2:IV:2, 10, 6:VI:105]

the Revised Calendar: el Calendario Revisado.
V. the Steward's Reckoning.

[SA 3:XI:93; cfr. a rhyme of lore: SA 3:XI:99; cfr. rhymes of old days: SA 5:VIII:67]

V. the Horse-country, the Mark, the Mark of the Riders, the Riddermark of Rohan; cfr. the Men of the Riddermark, Third Marshal of Riddermark.
[SA 2:II:190, 2:IX:9, 3:II:124, 3:VI:19, 5:VIII:96]

the Riddermark of Rohan: la Marca de los Jinetes de Rohan.
V. the Horse-country, the Mark, the Mark of the Riders, the Riddermark.
[SA 2:II:183]

the Riddle-game / the Riddle Game: el Juego de los Enigmas – damos la forma usada en PRO:37, 1:II:37 de sa-M-4; la edición sa-M-3 omitía las mayúsculas (sc. el juego de los enigmas), mientras que H:PRE:1, el otro sitio donde aparece el nombre propiamente dicho en el original, no aparece en las ediciones relevadas.
V. the Game.
[the Riddle-game: SA PRO:37, 1:II:130; the Riddle Game: H PRE:1; cfr. the riddle-game: H V:77; cfr. the riddle-competition: H VI:19]

the Rider: el Jinete – en realidad, en S:QS:III:14 se traduce 'the dark Rider' como "el Jinete Oscuro".
V. the Hunter; cfr. the Great Rider.
[S QS:III:14]

V. the Horse-lords, Horse-men, the Horsemen of the North, Masters of Horses, the Men of the Mark, the Men of the Riddermark, the Northmen2, Rider(s) of Rohan, Rider(s) of the Mark, the Sons of Eorl, the Strawheads, the Whiteskins; cfr. the Mark of the Riders, the Mound of the Riders, the Riders of the King's House, the White Rider.

V. the Horse-lords, Horse-men, the Horsemen of the North, Masters of Horses, the Men of the Mark, the Men of the Riddermark, the Northmen2, Rider(s)1, Rider(s) of the Mark, the Sons of Eorl, the Strawheads, the Whiteskins.

V. the Enemy's Ring, the Great Ring, the Great Ring of Power, the Master-ring, the One2, the One Ring, the Ring of Doom1, the Ring of Isildur, the Ring of Power, the Ring of Rings, the Ring of the Enemy, the Ruling Ring; cfr. the Companions of the Ring, the Company of the Ring, the Fellowship of the Ring, the Great War of the Ring, the Lord of the Ring, Ring-bearer(s), Ring-day, the Ring-finder, the Ringlord, Ring-lore, the Rings, the Ring's Company, Ringwinner, the War of the Ring.
[SA passim, S AK:82, AP:31 (2 veces), 32 (2 veces), 50, 56 (2 veces), 57, 59, 63, IN:5 (Isildur)]

XXII; The Water of the Wondrous Isles, cap. XXV).
V. the Bearer; cfr. Lockbearer, the Ring, the Ring-finder.
[Ring-bearer(s): SA 2:I:62, 2:II:206, 2:III:32, 80, 2:IV:28, 2:VII:43, 97, 108, 2:VIII:73, 3:I:22, 3:V:17, 3:VI:90, 4:VIII:21, 4:IX:26, 4:X:58, 5:IX:65, 69, 5:X:13, 6:IV:8, 43, 6:V:85, 6:VI:4, 7, 6:VIII:92, 6:IX:75, 79, AP:A:I:iii:11, AP:B:15, 20, 21 (1482), AP:D:27; Ringbearer(s): S PRO:5; cfr. the bearer of the Ring: SA 2:IV:151]

Cfr. the Ring.

V. Ringwinner; cfr. the Ring, Ring-bearer(s).

[SA 5:I:185]

the Ring of Adamant: el Anillo de Diamante – Nenya.

[S AP:12, IN:5 (2 veces: Galadriel, Nenya)]

the Rings: los Anillos.
V. Elven-ring(s), Great Ring(s), Ring(s) of Power; cfr. the Days of the Rings, the Lord of the Rings, the Ring, the Ring of Rings, Ringwraith(s).
[SA 1:II:44, 54, 58 (2 veces), 155, 2:II:83, 239, 3:IX:35, AP:B:14 (2 veces: 2850, 2953), S AP:49]

V. the Companions, the Companions of the Ring, the Company1, the Company of the Ring, the Fellowship, the Fellowship of the Ring, the Nine Companions, the Nine Walkers; cfr. the Ring.

V. Elven-ring(s), Great Ring(s), the Rings; cfr. the Ring of Power, Of the Rings of Power.
[SA 1:II:43, 116, 163, 2:II:28, AP:B:8 (c. 1500), S AP:9, 13, 47, 57, IN:5 (2 veces: Dwarves, Rings of Power)]

Of the Rings of Power: De los Anillos de Poder – título.
Cfr. Ring(s) of Power.
[S PRO:5, AP:título, IN:5 (Elf-friends)]

V. the Ring-finder; cfr. the Ring, Ring-bearer(s).
[H XII:56]

V. Black Rider(s), the Black Wings, Fell Rider(s), the Nine1, Nine Lords, the Nine Riders, the Nine Ringwraiths, the Nine Servants, the Nine Servants of the Lord of the Rings, Rider(s)2, Shadow(s), the Shriekers, Wraith(s); cfr. the Lord of the Ringwraiths, the Rings.

V. Deep Dale of the Cleft, the First Homely House, the House of Elrond, the Last Homely House; cfr. the Lady of Rivendell, the Reckoning of Rivendell.

Rosa: Rosa – nombre hobbit (mujer).
Cfr. Rosamunda, Rose.
[SA AP:C:Bolsón, Tuk]

Rosamunda: Rosamunda – nombre hobbit (mujer).
Cfr. Rosa, Rose.
[SA AP:C:Tuk]

Rose: Rosa – nombre hobbit (mujer).

V. the Enemy's Ring, the Great Ring, the Great Ring of Power, the Master-ring, the One2, the One Ring, the Ring, the Ring of Doom1, the Ring of Isildur, the Ring of Power, the Ring of Rings, the Ring of the Enemy.

V. Lord and Steward, Lord and Steward of the City, Lord of Gondor, Lord of the City, Lord of the Tower of Guard, Lord of the White Tower, Ruling Steward of Gondor, Steward, Steward of Gondor, Steward of the City, Steward of the High King, Steward of the House of Anárion.

V. Lord and Steward, Lord and Steward of the City, Lord of Gondor, Lord of the City, Lord of the Tower of Guard, Lord of the White Tower, Ruling Steward, Steward, Steward of Gondor, Steward of the City, Steward of the High King, Steward of the House of Anárion.
[SA AP:A:I:iv:54, S IN:5 (Mardil), APÉNDICE:2 (bar)]

Rumble: Rumble – apellido hobbit.
Cfr. Widow Rumble.
[SA 6:IX:29]

the Running River: el Río Rápido – el Celduin.
V. the River Running.
[H Mapa Thrór, I:110, X:6, XI:8, XII:103, XIII:46, XIV:2, 18, XV:27, XVIII:24, XIX:35]
